Our Beautiful Bay

This week we thought we would share some images of our 'Beautiful Bay' with you, just to remind you how lovely it looks in the April sunshine 😎

These photos were taken on the higher rock walk yesterday, while we were on our short family exercise walk 😊

If you haven't done the higher walk before, there are some amazing views to be had.

The walk starts behind the new Abbey Sands development on the seafront, on Shedden Hill Road.

There are approx 15 steps up before it flattens out and you can then walk right the way around the cliff from Abbey Sands to the Princess Theatre.

You can even take a sneak look into the rooftop gardens and balconies of the £1m penthouses of the Abbey Sands development 😉

Once you reach the theatre, you can walk down the stairs, with various viewing points and benches to rest on, along the way. The steps are illuminated at night too!

We then crossed over the road into Princess Gardens and back along the seafront towards Belgrave Road - a nice little circuit (just enough for Archies little legs 🤣)

So, after two weeks of lockdown, what have you been up to this week?

We haven't managed to run out of jobs just yet!

We have been doing more gardening, including cleaning out the pond 🤢

The kids also did some chalk 'graffiti', which looked great.

The weather has been so good - we have been very lucky so far. Long may it continue 🤞

Hopefully it won't be too long now and we will be able to see you all again.
